Angel Jenessa

May 9-August 5, 2005

Jenessa Marie Caldwell was born to proud parents , Glenn and Tena , and big brother William, on May 9 , 2005 at Royal University Hospital. She passed away peacefully on August 5 , 2005 ,at Battlefords Union hospital.

For anyone who met Jenessa she touched their lives forever.

Her beautiful, sweet smiles and dark blue eyes; one look and she touched your heart. She had red hair, tiny fingers, with a strong grip. When she held on to your finger, it was a firm hold.

Jenessa liked holding hands. And enjoyed her 2 ½ inch feet

being rubbed. She would curl her toes around your fingers when you did this.

Everyone had some sort of nick name for Jenessa. Sneak and Houdini - this is because we could not keep blankets, mitts or socks on her, she wiggled out or them with the greatest of ease.

Dr.Martell called her peanut and also on her first ultrasound she looked like a peanut. She could move around in her isolette and could almost turn herself over which brought on squirmy worm. Angel and Princess – as she looked angelic while she slept and she was treated like a queen by family , friends and nurses on 2nd east at Battlefords Union Hospital.

OH- yah, and the special chauffeur rides by WPD ambulance. Precious, sweetheart, Beautiful and gorgeous, Because she was sweet and beautiful inside and out.

On her first few Months of life she learned a lot, Jenessa could stick out her tongue, make kissing noises when she wanted a kiss, and helped you change her diaper when needed, Jenessa did not like to be cold or wet and she would let you know real soon . Other than that she was a quiet precious, bundle of joy who loved to smile and smile even more when she recognized a voice calling her name. She loved her three musical toys. Winnie the pooh , that sang Winnie the pooh and a teddy Bear that sang 'beautiful dreamer' . A Mobile that sang Brahms lullaby. Jenessa kept her dad busy winding these toys when they stopped.

For almost three months she had everyone wrapped around her finger and not one person minded at all.

Our little angel will be sadly missed, but will no longer have to struggle and will be pain free, The lesson that Jenessa taught everyone is live your life day by day! And no matter what cards in life you were dealt, there will always be time to smile !
